BRANCH MANAGER

Do you have a passion for leading others?

Can you multi-task multiple jobs in different departments?

Can you coordinate the activities of both yourself and others?

The Branch Manager is responsible for managing a team (can be within the areas of: sales, customer service, order desk, counter, warehouse) who are able to meet and exceed revenue targets while promptly and professionally addressing the needs of customers within their branch locale.

The Branch Manager is also required to generate and deliver sales and marketing initiatives, revenue growth and client retention. The Branch Manager is further required to coach and mentor the branch team through motivation, leadership and encouragement while striving for exceptional customer service standards and accountability. Other duties will be assigned as necessary

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, direct and evaluate the operations of the branch team
  • Develop, implement and monitor detailed operations strategies and objectives
  • Monitor and manage inventory control
  • Ensure the provision of excellent customer service
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and client retention levels
  • Implement and execute the Company’s marketing strategy as supported through head office marketing department
  • Build and retain an effective team
  • Lead, coach and motivate the team to achieve goals
  • Model and champion Bartle & Gibson values and mission
  • Attain budgeted revenue expectations
  • Set expectations for each of Bartle & Gibson staff including customer expectations and quota achievement
  • Measure the activities of staff
  • Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a courteous, professional manner.
  • Determine staffing requirements and oversee the hiring of staff with support of head office HR department
  • Maintain current general knowledge of Employee Benefits
  • Create a safe environment for the discussion and resolution of issues and concerns
  • Work in concert with other branches to assure congruence with Company operations.
  • Complete various sales and operations reports
  • Conduct regular branch team performance evaluations
  • Ensure that all personnel comply with Company policies, procedures and ethical standards
  • Ensure compliance with Bartle & Gibson standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and on-time delivery
  • Provide leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training, and development

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Secondary School Diploma required
  • Post Secondary education in Business, Marketing, or related field an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience. Experience leading a small team (2 to 3 individuals) preferred
  • Ability to lead and effectively supervise professional and non-professional staff
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 annually
