We are looking for a motivated and professional Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our team. This is a fast-paced position where communication, organization and the ability to solve problems are essential.

The Position

As a Customer Service Representative at TotalShip, you will be a primary point of contact for our customers. You will assist clients with their shipments, answer questions, resolve issues and work with our internal operations team and transportation partners to ensure customers receive timely and accurate information.

Fluency in both English and French is required for this position. Candidates must be comfortable communicating professionally with customers in both languages, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email in both English and French
  • Provide customers with shipment status updates and tracking information
  • Assist customers with questions regarding pickups, deliveries, rates and shipping services
  • Monitor shipments and proactively identify potential delays or service issues

  • Provide customers with timely updates until issues are fully resolved
  • Enter and maintain accurate shipment and customer information in our systems
  • Escalate urgent or complex situations when necessary
  • Build strong relationships with customers through professional, responsive and dependable service
  • Assist with other customer service and operational responsibilities as required

Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Detail-oriented and able to follow issues through to resolution
  • Comfortable working with computers, email and web-based systems
  • Ability to remain professional and composed when dealing with time-sensitive or challenging situations
  • Transportation, courier, freight or logistics experience is an asset

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who takes ownership of customer requests rather than simply passing them along. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable and understands the importance of keeping customers informed.

You should enjoy solving problems, communicating with people and working as part of a team in an environment where priorities can change quickly.

Why Join TotalShip?

At TotalShip, you will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry while working with a team focused on providing excellent service to our customers.

We value employees who take initiative, communicate effectively and contribute to creating long-term relationships with our clients.

If you are fully bilingual in English and French, customer-focused and interested in building a career in transportation and logistics, we would like to hear from you.
