THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a unique opportunity to build something from the ground up.

New-Line is excited to be expanding in Saskatchewan and is currently seeking an entrepreneurial and driven Branch Manager to lead our brand-new, turnkey Saskatoon facility. This is more than a management position—it's an opportunity to build a business, develop a high-performing team, and play a key role in the continued growth of one of Canada's most respected industrial distributors.

We're looking for a leader who is energized by growth, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and takes pride in developing people and building customer relationships. You'll be responsible for opening and growing the Saskatoon branch, recruiting and developing your team, and establishing New-Line as the industry's first choice in the region.

If you've ever wanted the opportunity to build your own branch with the support, resources, and stability of an established Canadian company, this role is for you.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As Branch Manager, you'll help keep our customers moving by:

  • Leading the successful launch and ongoing growth of our Saskatoon branch
  • Developing and executing a business strategy focused on sustainable growth and exceptional customer service
  • Recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, and developing a high-performing branch team
  • Creating a positive, engaged, and accountable workplace culture aligned with New-Line's values
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships while actively pursuing new business opportunities
  • Managing key customer accounts and utilizing your sales experience to win and retain business
  • Collaborating with the DCs and other branch leaders to support company-wide initiatives and goals
  • Ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately, efficiently, and on time
  • Monitoring branch performance and implementing strategies to achieve sales, gross margin, inventory, and customer service objectives
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional storefront and warehouse environment
  • Staying informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and new products to identify growth opportunities
  • Reviewing operational reports and processes to improve efficiencies and streamline branch operations
  • Managing staff scheduling, vacation approvals, and payroll approvals
  • Ensuring branch safety programs, inventory controls, equipment maintenance, and documentation are properly maintained
  • Supporting succession planning by developing future leaders within your team

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is a natural leader who enjoys coaching, mentoring, and developing people
  • Has a proven track record of sales success and business growth
  • Is entrepreneurial, motivated, and excited by the opportunity to build and grow a branch operation
  • Has strong people management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and employee development
  • Possesses exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Is mechanically inclined and enjoys learning technical products and applications
  • Has warehouse and inventory management experience, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control
  • Demonstrates strong business acumen and problem-solving abilities
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Is highly organized and detail-oriented while remaining adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Has experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications (experience with Sage 300 is considered an asset)
  • Is proactive and confident when addressing operational, personnel, or safety matters
  • Is committed to continuous learning and professional development
  • Holds a valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract

Industry experience within industrial distribution, hose and fittings, hydraulics, or related markets is considered an asset. Most importantly, we're looking for a leader who shares our passion for building great teams and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
