Roustan Sports, a division of True Sports, is looking for a QuickBooks Bookkeeper to join the team.

About the Role

The QuickBooks bookkeeper records daily financial transactions, processes accounts payable/receivable, manages payroll, and reconciles bank statements using QuickBooks software. They track debits and credits, generate financial statements (like P&L and balance sheets), and help prepare records for tax time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transaction Recording: Enter and categorize daily sales, expenses, and receipts.
  • Invoicing & Billing: Create, send, and track client invoices, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to verify balance accuracy.
  • Reporting: Generate cash flow reports, income statements, and balance sheets.
  • Payroll Processing: Calculate and process bi-weekly payroll, including relevant tax filings.
  • Compliance: Support annual audits and assist with corporate or personal tax preparations.
  • Other office duties as assigned such as PO's, shipping admin, office admin

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proficiency in accounting software, primarily QuickBooks Online.
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles (such as double entry) and high attention to detail.
  • Competency in Microsoft Excel and general office software.
  • Excellent mathematical, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Canadian payroll and tax remittances (GST/HST/CRA requirements for local candidates).
