We're looking for a creative and energetic Social Media Content Creator to become the visual storyteller behind our brands. From hotels and restaurants to exciting projects across the Bow Valley, you'll spend your days capturing content, telling stories, and bringing our brands to life.

his is an ideal opportunity for someone with an existing evening job who is looking for a daytime role, giving you the flexibility to pursue other passions while building an impressive content creation portfolio.

While this position is a one-year maternity leave position, BCP is evolving. We're looking for someone who wants to grow with us, and we'd love to see the right candidate continue their career within our organization as new opportunities arise.

What You'll Do
As our Content Creator, you'll be responsible for capturing and creating engaging content across multiple brands and locations throughout Banff Caribou Properties.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Capturing high-quality video and photography at hotels, restaurants, and project locations
• Creating scroll-stopping Reels, Stories, TikToks, and short-form videos
• Editing content using mobile or desktop editing software
• Staying on top of social media trends, viral content, audio, and emerging platform features
• Writing engaging captions and scheduling content
• Collaborating with internal teams to bring brand stories to life
• Ensuring content reflects each brand's unique voice, style, and personality

What We're Looking For
We're less concerned about formal education and more interested in your creativity, initiative, and portfolio.

You should have:

• A strong portfolio showcasing content you've personally filmed and edited
• Active social channels, portfolio links, or examples of your work
• Experience with editing tools such as CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar platforms
• A great eye for visual storytelling, composition, and trends
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
• Confidence behind the camera and comfort directing people on camera when needed

This position is a 1-year maternity leave contract. However, Banff Caribou Properties continues to grow, and opportunities regularly emerge across our organization. We would love to see the right candidate build a long-term career with us.
