Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive repair and bodywork, with a strong focus on restoring vehicles to their original condition. This role involves performing repairs, refinishing, and detailing work on a variety of vehicles, ensuring high-quality standards and customer satisfaction. The Auto Body Technician will work in a fast-paced environment that values precision, safety, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and restore vehicle bodies following manufacturer specifications and safety standards
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment to remove dents, replace panels, and perform structural repairs
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, grinding, and masking
  • Apply paint, primer, and finishing touches to ensure a seamless appearance
  • Conduct inspections to identify additional repair needs and communicate findings effectively
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
  • Collaborate with team members to complete repairs within designated timeframes
  • Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations during repair processes

Qualifications

  • Previous dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred
  • Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and body components
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment
  • Experience with automotive refinishing techniques is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Mechanic experience is advantageous but not required
  • Physical ability to lift heavy parts and perform manual tasks for extended periods
