:
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Sales Support Specialist to support our Public Sector under the business system group within the IT hardware and reseller channel business.
This role is critical in managing day-to-day sales operations, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring accurate and timely execution of opportunities, orders, and reporting. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and can effectively support multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support
  • Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to Public Sector team.
  • Manage and maintain sales opportunities in CRM (e.g., Salesforce), including updating deal details, stages, and shipped quantities.
  • Assist in preparing quotes, bids, forecast, stock and proposals.
  • Support multiple BDMs simultaneously and act as their backup when needed.

Order Management, Coordination & Customer Support
  • Coordinate business orders across internal teams including Product Management, Logistics, Accounting, and Order Processing team.
  • Manage allocation processes and ensure timely execution of orders.
  • Review orders for accuracy (pricing, SKUs, quantities) before processing.
  • Follow up, track and resolve order-related issues such as backorders, delays, discrepancies and customer requests.
  • Ensure smooth communication across all departments involved in the sales cycle
  • Act as a point of contact for reseller partners and internal stakeholders for inquiries related to pricing, stock, and order status.
  • Provide timely communication on ETAs, shipment updates, and order progress
  • Escalate complex issues to BDMs or appropriate internal teams.
  • Work closely with Product Management for product updates, SKU setup and lifecycle information.
  • Lead with Finance/Accounting on invoicing, credit applications, and any related issues.
  • Coordinate with Logistics on shipment tracking and delivery timelines.

Documentation & Process Support
  • Maintain organized records of supporting documents, bids, and sales files
  • Assist with preparation of internal reports, presentations, and business reviews

Events, Travel & Team Support
  • Support sales events, partner events, and industry trade shows (logistics, coordination, and on-site support as needed).
  • Occasionally national travel to support BDMs, customer meetings, or company events. (Travel expectations10%)

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in sales support, inside sales, or order management (preferably in IT hardware or technology distribution)
  • Experience working with public sector (Channel / OEM / partners/distributors) experience is a strong asset
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data and order processing
  • Written and verbal communication skills in English and French is a must

Technical Skills
  • Strong experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (reporting, data tracking, analysis)
  • Familiarity with ERP/order management systems is an asset
