Perform all job functions according to EH&S standards

· Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems

· Project work to build new equipment including controls, lighting and motors

· Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems

· Install & maintain electrical circuits and instruments as required for plant upkeep or process modifications

· Maintain updated documentation of all electrical changes implemented

· Maintain good housekeeping

· Assist Millwrights in fabricating and installing equipment

· Major Work Area : Service; repair; maintenance; machine set-up, machinery installation

Required Qualifications:

· Certified Industrial Electrician 442A OR 309a License required

· Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Licensed Electrician

· Experience with High Voltage Electrical Systems required(600V)

· Evidence of strong problem solving and decision-making ability

· Able to read electrical schematics

· Effective communication skills required

· Experience with large motors (Up to 75 hp)

· Able to run EMT or rigid conduit

· Knowledge of electrical codes/ correct wire sizes/best practices

· Able to safely operate scissor lift and Genie boom

· Equipment and Machinery Experience: Welding equipment; pumps and compressors; lifting device; fans and blowers; electrical and electronic controls; conveyor; brakes; hydraulic system

· Drivers License (Preferred)

Desired but not required:

· Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic and mechanical systems.

· PLC Programming and/or troubleshooting 5 yrs.

· Knowledge of Mechanical or Piping system

· Willingness to work weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
