Wage: $23 CAD per hour (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable invoices and organize supporting documentation
  • Assist with accounts receivable, customer invoicing, and payment follow-up
  • Answer incoming telephone calls and direct inquiries appropriately
  • Receive, enter, and process customer orders
  • Confirm order details, pricing, quantities, and delivery information
  • Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal team members
  • Maintain accurate electronic and paper records
  • Assist with filing, data entry, document preparation, and general office administration
  • Identify missing information, errors, or discrepancies and follow up to resolve them
  • Support other administrative and accounting tasks as required

The Ideal Candidate

  • Loves details and takes pride in accurate work
  • Is highly organized and able to manage several different tasks
  • Is dependable, professional, and comfortable taking responsibility
  • Has strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Is comfortable speaking with customers over the telephone and by email
  • Can work independently while also contributing to a team
  • Is confident using computers, email, spreadsheets, and accounting or order-entry software
  • Has previous experience in administration, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or customer service

Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software would be considered an asset.
