Job Summary
Assistant Property Manager – Prince George

As part of our team, you’ll contribute to the mission of our shareholder, MCC BC—a global charitable organization serving communities in BC, across Canada, and around the world. We own and manage a diverse portfolio of multi‑family rental properties. This full‑time, in‑office role is based in Prince George, B.C.

The Assistant Property Manager supports the Property Manager in the day-to-day operations of residential properties, ensuring a high standard of tenant satisfaction, operational efficiency, and team collaboration. This role plays a key part in maintaining positive resident relationships, facilitating smooth leasing processes, and coordinating with internal teams to uphold property standards. The successful candidate will possess a commitment to industry-leading standards for communication, documentation, and tenant selection.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

· Conduct property tours with prospective tenants

· Assist prospects with rental applications and guide them through the process

· Process rental applications and communicate decisions

· Facilitate move-ins and move-outs, including inspections and documentation

· Respond to resident inquiries and provide support as needed

· Collaborate with the maintenance and leasing teams to address property needs

· Support the Property Manager with administrative tasks and reporting

· Maintain accurate records and documentation using property management software

· Assist in coordinating vendor services and property inspections

· Help enforce lease terms and community policies

Required Qualifications

· Excellent communication and organizational skills

· Strong computer skills

· Valid class 5 driver’s license

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Experience & Skills

· Experience in property management or residential leasing preferred

· Background in customer service

· Proficiency in MS Suite such as Teams, Word, and Excel

· Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi is an asset
