Join Our Team!

Are you a personable, organized, and motivated individual who enjoys working with people and making a difference in their living experience?

Remai Property Group Inc. is a local, family-owned company that owns and manages quality rental apartment communities designed for adults aged 55 and over in Saskatoon and Regina. We take pride in providing welcoming communities, exceptional service, and a personal approach to property management.

We are currently seeking a Leasing Manager / Assistant Property Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a combination of sales, marketing, customer service, and property management in a professional and supportive environment.

Experience in residential leasing or property management is an asset, but not a requirement. We are willing to train an enthusiastic candidate with strong sales and customer service skills who is motivated to learn and grow with our company.

About the Position

The successful candidate will play an important role in the leasing and day-to-day management of our apartment communities. This position is responsible for attracting prospective residents, managing the leasing process from initial inquiry through move-in, while maintaining positive relationships with current residents and assisting with the overall operation of our properties.

We are looking for someone who is professional, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and genuinely enjoys working with people.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Leasing

  • Develop, implement and oversee marketing initiatives to promote apartment availability and attract prospective residents.
  • Manage rental inquiries by telephone, email, online platforms, and in person.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to prospective residents.
  • Schedule and conduct apartment showings, highlighting suite features, amenities, and community benefits.
  • Follow up with prospective residents to encourage applications and successful leasing.
  • Prepare rental applications, lease agreements, and related documentation.
  • Coordinate the leasing process from initial inquiry through application approval and lease execution.
  • Maintain accurate records of inquiries, prospects, applications, vacancies, and leasing activity.

Resident Relations & Suite Turnover

  • Coordinate and facilitate resident move-ins and move-outs.
  • Conduct suite inspections and document suite conditions.
  • Ensure suites are properly prepared and presented for prospective residents.
  • Assist with resident communications, service requests, and general inquiries.
  • Build positive relationships with residents and their families, providing friendly, responsive, and professional service.
  • Assist in addressing resident concerns and resolving issues in a timely and appropriate manner.

Assistant Property Management Duties

  • Assist with the day-to-day operations of the apartment communities.
  • Support the Property Manager with administrative duties, reporting, and record keeping.
  • Assist in the coordination with maintenance staff and contractors to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance.
  • Assist with monitoring property standards, cleanliness, safety, and presentation.
  • Support rent collection, lease administration, and other property management functions as required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, lease agreements, and applicable residential tenancy legislation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in residential leasing, property management, real estate, sales, hospitality, or customer service is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong sales and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships.
  • A genuine interest in working with adults aged 55 and over.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Comfortable using computers, email, Microsoft Office, and online marketing platforms.
  • A professional, positive, and approachable manner.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
  • A valid driver's licence and reliable personal vehicle that can be used for business travel are required.

What We Offer

  • Competitive annual salary of $55,000 – $65,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Participation in the company's employee benefit plan.
  • Participation in the company's matching savings plan.
  • A generous mileage allowance for business-related travel using your personal vehicle.
  • The opportunity to work with a well-established, local family-owned company.
  • A friendly, supportive, and professional work environment.
  • A meaningful role in helping residents find a comfortable place to call home.
  • A varied position offering opportunities to develop skills in leasing, marketing, and property management.
  • The opportunity to grow with our company.
