About the Role

We're looking for a proactive Project Manager who can balance office-based administration with on-site project oversight. You'll manage restoration projects from start to finish, coordinate permits and trades, and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders. This role includes participation in our on-call rotation and a 45–50 hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage property restoration projects end to end, including water, fire, mould, asbestos, and other damage losses.
  • Conduct site inspections, assess damage, and define scope of work.
  • Prepare accurate estimates using Xactimate; manage budgets, costs, and change orders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, insurance adjusters, property managers, and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate technicians, trades, materials, equipment, schedules, permits, and site access.
  • Maintain complete project documentation, including photos, reports, notes, and job records.
  • Manage estimates, approvals, work authorizations, timesheets, vendor quotes, and invoicing.
  • Identify risks early and develop practical solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Review completed work and resolve deficiencies through to completion.
  • Collaborate with Emergency Response and Construction teams to ensure smooth transitions from mitigation to reconstruction.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, industry standards, and safety requirements.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management experience in restoration, construction, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of water damage restoration and general construction processes.
  • Experience with Xactimate.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • IICRC certifications (AMRT a plus).
  • Experience with Encircle, CRM, or job management software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged sitting, typing, and computer use.
  • Dexterity for manual tasks and documentation.
  • Mobility for on-site visits, including active job sites.
