Overview

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager Assistant to support the Warehouse Manager in daily warehouse operations. The successful candidate will help coordinate warehouse activities, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure smooth workflow in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and eager to grow in warehouse operations and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Warehouse Manager in recruiting, training, and onboarding new hires
  • Support daily warehouse operations and assist staff with tasks as needed
  • Help assign work schedules and timesheets for warehouse employees
  • Prepare and review lists of outgoing shipments and coordinate timely dispatch
  • Oversee the reception, sorting, labeling, and storage of incoming materials
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies
  • Assist in monitoring compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Operate basic warehouse equipment and IT systems under supervision

Requirements

  • 2 years more warehouse or logistics experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced physical environment
  • Basic knowledge of inventory systems and Microsoft Office
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Problem-solving ability and a proactive attitude
  • Forklift certification is an asset
