Incredible opportunity for a full-time Assistant Manager with Browns Restaurant Group!

This position offers long-term leadership development and career advancement within the fastest-growing full-service restaurant company in Canada (Browns Restaurant Group/BRG). This person will be responsible for creating a positive and energetic work environment and should possess an entrepreneurial spirit.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

· Take an active role in service during all operating hours.

· Uphold our commitment to quality in service and brand standards with ongoing staff training.

· Maintain/support the high standard of quality represented in our Food & Beverage programs.

· Coordinate and conduct pre-shift meetings.

· HR Management including hiring, training, performance management and schedule writing.

· Maintain daily communication for Food, Wine, and Beverage details as they relate to service.

· Develop product knowledge through ongoing training, seminars, and tastings.

· Inventory and cost control management.

· Ability to foster a work culture where staff development and a job well done are recognized.

· Develop and maintain regular clientele.

· Increase guest check average.

· Balance daily cash and meet labor targets.

WHAT YOU BRING:

· At least 2 years of restaurant management experience.

· Excellent interpersonal skills, guest service, and oral/written communication skills.

· Strong computer and office administration skills.

· The ability to train effectively and execute to deliver a great guest experience.

· A passion for food, beverage and all things related to the restaurant business.

· An ability to build and foster relationships, and commitment to people development.

· Current First Aid, Serving It Right & Food Safe Certification.
