Job Overview

301-unit apartment complex located in Surrey, BC, with no pets. We require the Assistant manager to live on site. This position is Friday - Tuesday 8 am - 4 pm. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Building Manager to support the daily operations of our property management team. This role involves overseeing building maintenance, tenant relations, and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the property. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent customer service abilities, and familiarity with property management software and office procedures.

Duties

  • Assist in managing building operations, including maintenance coordination and vendor communication
  • Support leasing activities and tenant inquiries, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Utilize Accpac and other property management systems for data entry, rent collection, and record keeping
  • Handle administrative responsibilities such as filing, document management, and preparing reports
  • Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections, and tenant communications
  • Provide exceptional customer service through phone etiquette and professional interaction with tenants and vendors
  • Support sales efforts by assisting with marketing initiatives and lease negotiations
  • Manage customer relationship management
  • Perform office tasks including filing, data entry, and scheduling appointments or inspections

Experience

  • Prior experience with office administration or property management is preferred
  • Familiarity with Accpac or similar property management software is highly desirable
  • Experience in customer service, sales, or negotiation enhances effectiveness in this role
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and record keeping
  • Excellent phone etiquette and professional communication skills are essential
  • Previous experience in property management or related fields will be advantageous for success in this position

Pay: $3,900.00-$4,000.00 per month
