Then Manning Park Resort has an exciting employment opportunity for you. We are looking for an Assistant General Manager to assist in supporting and facilitating the day-to-day leadership, management, and administration of one of British Columbia’s best-kept secrets.

The ideal candidate for this year-round, hands-on position will possess:

  • Minimum of five years’ management experience with demonstrated leadership and coaching skills in the resort and hospitality industry, including mandatory, hands-on experience in Alpine area operations (such as ski hill operations, lift operations, grooming, ski patrol, Snow School experience, and winter activities).
  • Strong, practical expertise in Alpine and winter operations planning, safety, and execution is essential for success in this role and is a core requirement.
  • A diploma, degree or equivalent experience in the areas of Tourism & Hospitality, Business, Marketing or related field is an asset
  • Ability to cultivate strong and effective relationships with staff, local businesses and stakeholders
  • Proven financial acumen in budget and capital management
  • Engaging interpersonal and communication skills
  • Business development and supportive mindset
  • Oversee resort operations in the absence of the General Manager
  • Valid and current documents to work in Canada
