Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Lead Hand / Shop Supervisor to assemble and wire industrial control panels while leading shop workflow, supporting the team, and coordinating builds to meet project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and wire industrial control panels
  • Lead shop team and provide direction on panel builds
  • Plan workflow and coordinate with Project Managers/Engineering
  • Order and manage shop consumables
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics
  • Mount components (PLC, HMI, VFD, relays, breakers, etc.)
  • Perform drilling, tapping, and panel modifications
  • Ensure proper wire routing, sizing, and colour coding
  • Maintain CSA, UL, and internal quality standards
  • Work safely with hand and power tools

Qualifications

  • Experience in panel building and industrial wiring
  • Leadership or lead hand experience (preferred)
  • Electrical/electronics education (asset)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid G driver’s license
