• Leadership: Provides strategic and operational leadership to the banking system delivery and application support functions. Translates business and IT strategies into functional plans, priorities, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes. Establishes clear accountabilities and ensures the team has the capabilities, capacity, and operating practices required to execute effectively. Leads and develops a high-performing team through coaching, performance management, professional development, mentoring, succession planning, and workforce planning.

• Solutions Delivery: Delivers solutions following the Cooperative Bank’s SDLC, architecture, cybersecurity, risk, change management and governance requirements. Provides oversight of complex implementations and integrations, resolving issues and removing organizational barriers that may affect delivery outcomes. Provides leadership on the capabilities, configuration, and effective use of the banking system, including how system functionality enables business processes, products, and member experiences. Advises senior leadership on system capabilities, constraints, risks, and opportunities, and influences business decisions to support scalable and sustainable solutions.

• Support and Operations: Provides leadership and oversight for the support, stability, resilience, availability and performance of mission-critical banking systems and related integrations. Establishes service expectations, operating models, performance measures, escalation protocols, and governance practices for internal teams, outsourced services, and third-party providers. Ensures effective monitoring, incident management, problem management, risk mitigation, and operational reporting practices are in place to maintain system health and service performance. Partners with Technology Operations, Cybersecurity, Risk, and business leaders to strengthen operational resilience, incident readiness, business continuity, regulatory compliance, and audit preparedness.

• Roadmap & Planning: Develops and maintains an integrated roadmap and delivery plan for banking systems based on approved business and IT strategies.. Ensures release and investment priorities reflect business readiness, architectural integrity, resource capacity, risk requirements and member experience priorities. Provides consultative support on financial and resource planning, including budget requirements, vendor costs, resource forecasts and effort estimation. Establishes measures to monitor delivery performance, expected outcomes and the value realized from banking system investments. Ensures delivery and operational support priorities are integrated into roadmap, capacity, and investment planning decisions.

• Stakeholder & Third-Party Engagement: Provides leadership and governance for third-party vendors, managed service providers, and banking system partners, including CGI, CAG/Alliance, other credit unions, and related technology providers. Establishes clear service, risk, performance, and delivery expectations and holds partners accountable for contractual commitments, integration outcomes, delivery quality, operational performance, and issue resolution .Leads senior-level vendor relationships and escalations and works with Procurement, Legal, Risk, Cybersecurity, and business leaders to address service issues, contractual requirements, and third-party risks.
