Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, managing guest seating, and ensuring a smooth dining experience. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food service, hospitality, and cash handling within a dynamic environment that values teamwork and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and manage reservations to ensure efficient seating arrangements
  • Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS and handle cashiering duties
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and food handling procedures
  • Assist in setting up dining areas, cleaning tables, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
  • Manage guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math calculations for bills and change
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to deliver seamless service
  • Uphold food industry standards and adhere to health regulations at all times

Requirements

  • Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
  • Basic math skills for cashiering and bill calculations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed; prior hospitality or food industry experience is advantageous
