Full job description

We are seeking an experienced detailed oriented and enthusiastic Resident Managers for our 84 unit residential complex in Barrie Ontario. This is a full-time live in position.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Administrative responsibilities include: performing incoming and outgoing inspections, rent collections and deposits, leasing and applications process, responding to Tenant inquiries, concerns and emergencies, overseeing contracted repairs and maintenance of buildings and grounds.

Inspect building operational systems. Ie boiler, generator, life safety systems, elevators, etc.

Thoroughly clean entrances, stairwells, hallways, laundry rooms, exercise rooms, saunas, public washrooms, recreation rooms, and garbage facilities.

Ensure exterior grounds are safe, clean and free of debris. Exterior duties include snow removal and salting of walkways, entrances and exits. Snow blower provided. During summer months daily maintenance of swimming pool.

Perform minor plumbing, mechanical and general repairs and maintenance.

Build positive relations and communications with Tenants.

Ensure the high standards of the property is maintained.

Qualifications

· Sound judgement and problem solving skills

· Maintenance skills

· Exceptional customer service

· Attention to detail

· Ability to safely use and maintain tools and equipment of the job

· Fluent in speaking and writing in English

· Valid Driver’s license and vehicle

· Previous experience in property management, renting apartments or building management.

· Knowledge of applicable legislation regarding residential tenancies and the rights and obligations of Landlords and Tenants.

Salary $45,000
Rent Reduction $- 7,968
Rental Unit $26,400

Total Compensation $63,432
