Alexander Place is a fully accredited long term care home in Waterdown, Ontario and serves 128 residents. It is a growing, predominantly residential community within the city of Hamilton and approximately 60 km west from downtown Toronto. The community is known for its natural beauty, and numerous wetland trails, alongside local amenities like unique shops, diverse restaurants, and community events.

As a Personal Support Assistant, you are responsible for providing optimum services in the provision of activities of daily living, dining services, comfort and companionship to promote the quality of life and well-being of each individual resident.
The following traits and qualifications are required:
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in customer service or working with seniors preferred
- Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team
- Ability to model the warmth of human connection in communicating with residents, families, and visitors
- Sensitive and empathetic to the needs of others
- An active interest in ongoing education
- Computer literate
- Effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing
