Full job description

The Live Video Monitoring Operator (LVMO) must observe and respond to Video Alarms being received from the client’s security system as per the established work instructions. In addition, monitor and respond to incoming emails and phone communication. Perform deterrent audio broadcasts and dispatch mobile/police response as required.

  • Attend to video/sensor signals transmitted to the Video Management Software (VMS) by applying established procedures.
  • Monitoring and dispatching alarm events during live crime (in progress) via video monitoring
  • Execute audio warnings as per pre-establish customer services protocols.
  • Document the alarms and solution actions taken in the monitoring software.
  • Accurate and timely dispatching of calls to proper emergency contacts (client’s requested emergency contacts).
  • Periodically verify VMS equipment and notify management of any issues, concerns with equipment.
  • Conduct compliance audits
  • Triage technology and security systems deficiencies
  • Data entry including customer account maintenance.
  • Document and track the disarming of cameras and customer locations
  • Apply an extreme amount of diligence in reviewing incoming incidents
  • Use exceptional customer service skills while remaining calm and focused in stressful, high-pressure situations, adapting quickly in a dynamic environment.
  • Other affiliated duties related to the position or upon request from management.

Initial Work Schedule

Midnight to 8:00AM (Subject to change in the future)

or

4:00PM to Midnight

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
