Position Overview

Urban Oasis Dental Studio is a family-owned, modern, patient focused practice, committed to delivering high quality dental care in a warm, welcoming family friendly environment. We are growing and seeking an experienced Dental Office Administrator to join the front desk team in our busy practice. Hours would include 2 evening shifts per week and 2 Saturdays per month. You will be the first point of contact for our patients, provide front desk operations, support daily scheduling, and ensure smooth communication between patients and clinical team. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, detail-oriented, and experienced working in a fast-paced dental setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and check in patients
  • Manage inbound calls and schedule appointments efficiently
  • Confirm upcoming appointments and handle rescheduling needs
  • Verify insurance eligibility and process co-pays and patient balances
  • Maintain and update patient records with accuracy
  • Communicate effectively with dentists, hygienists, and assistants for smooth scheduling
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist with patient inquiries
  • Keep the greeting area clean, organized, and welcoming

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of dental administrative experience required
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, insurance processes, and scheduling workflows
  • Proficiency with dental software. ClearDent and MaxAssist experience an asset
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
  • Professional, friendly, and dependable
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
