Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable / Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for issue billing invoices, follow up purchase orders, managing incoming payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This role requires knowledge in Accounting Software Adagio / QuickBooks Desktop (Enterprises Version) and excellent communication skills to support our company's customer relationships. Prior experience with Adagio / QuickBooks Enterprises is preferred, along with strong bookkeeping and analysis skills.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and continuous improvement in financial processes.
Duties
- Issue billing invoices and record incoming purchases
- Reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Perform data entry tasks related to billing, payments, and account updates with high attention to detail
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding payment status via phone or email, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Collaborate with the accounting team on other bookkeeping functions as needed
Duties

Skills
- Knowledge with Adagio / QuickBooks, MS Excel and Word are essential
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable / payable processes, account reconciliation, and bookkeeping principles
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Customer service expertise with courteous phone etiquette and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles, and financial services industry standards
- Math skills necessary for accurate calculations and financial analysis
- Ability to perform account analysis efficiently and work independently within a team environment
