We are seeking a friendly and professional Cashier/Sales associate to join our retail team. Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a courteous manner
• Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and credit transactions
• Conduct product demonstrations and provide detailed information about merchandise
• Upsell products and promote special offers to enhance sales opportunities
• Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customer attention
• Manage inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
• Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and clarity
• Ensure checkout areas are clean, organized, and welcoming
• Assist with store opening and closing procedures, including balancing cash registers
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities such as Spanish or other languages are a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills necessary for transaction accuracy
• Knowledge of merchandising techniques and product demos is advantageous
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
• Demonstrated ability to upsell products and engage customers proactively
• Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills required
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings may be preferred depending on store needs

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
