Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Invoicing Specialist to join our growing transportation team in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec. The ideal candidate will have experience in transportation billing and invoicing, with a strong understanding of freight documentation, customer billing, and transportation rate structures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and process customer invoices accurately and on time.
  • Verify freight rates, fuel surcharges, accessorial charges, and supporting transportation documentation.
  • Ensure invoices are prepared in accordance with customer contracts and rate agreements.
  • Reconcile invoicing discrepancies and resolve billing issues with customers and internal departments.
  • Maintain accurate billing records and transportation documentation.
  • Monitor completed shipments to ensure timely invoicing.
  • Work closely with Dispatch, Operations, Customer Service, and Accounting to ensure billing accuracy.
  • Generate invoicing, revenue, and accounts receivable reports as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer and financial information.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of invoicing or billing experience, with at least 2 years in the truck transportation, logistics, or freight industry.
  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Business Administration, Transportation & Logistics, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of freight billing, transportation documentation, customer contracts, and rate structures.
  • Experience working with TransPlus(TP), QuickBooks Desktop, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Bilingual (English and French) is an asset.
