Job Overview
We are seeking an organized Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team. Starting at $60,000 - $75,000 and expected to work an average of 30 - 40 hours per week. Main duties would focus on bookkeeping and preparing year end Compilations for review.

Duties

  • Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or Sage50.
  • Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and payment tracking.
  • Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as needed.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
  • Respond to inquiries from management regarding financial data and reporting.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online or Sage50) is essential.
  • Strong understanding of account reconciliation processes.
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and related regulations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with team members and external stakeholders.
