Hard Work but Great Compensation
CHEF (Former Employee) – Vancouver, BC – 10 December 2014
-Typical day at work is based on position and applicable routine, which are well defined.
-Learned that with hard work comes results.
-Management is conflicted with being more progressive and the traditional autocratic/authoritative approach in the industry.
-Co-workers ran the gamut of those wanting to make a career in the industry to temporary/short-term.
-Hardest part of the job was impacting sales based on seasonality.
-Most enjoyable part of the job was assisting those reach their career goals with the organization, whether short or long-term.
Great compensation and benefits for salaried leaders
Poor work-life balance
