As a Reservations Specialist, I answered anywhere between 60 - 100 calls daily, was scheduled 40 hours weekly and worked from home. You have to provide your own equipment and pay for your own internet connection. The company has good benefits but the hourly pay of $13 is low compared to what the job market is currently offering, they do have a monthly commission payment based on the revenue you generate, I averaged $250 monthly. EXTREMELY EASY job and system, the work is repetitive and you will speak with many rude customers that treat you like you are beneath them. The company has MANY ridiculous metrics to measure your performance, 12 to be exact, the most important ones are Average Handle Time (Expected to be at 4 minutes) and Reservations Percentage (You are expected to close 40% of the time) Not easy to meet sometimes especially if you are working weekends, the best times to make reservations are Monday -Friday. Your schedule will be decided by the company, get ready to work afternoons and evenings along with weekends at least for your first 6 months. After that, you will have the opportunity to bid for a better schedule based on your performance VS the performance of the department, there are about 750 other agents you will be measured against. Holidays are not off, you will work all major Holidays but be paid double overtime for it unless the Holiday falls on your off day. This is a sales job, be ready to be pushy/creative with customers to get the reservation and meet the numbers they require of you. Your supervisor is your greatest asset you will have weekly meetings with them to speak about your performance and be given constructive criticism.
