Fair company, perfect for beginners
LONG HAUL TRUCK DRIVER (Former Employee) – Burnaby, BC – 27 February 2017
Generally good impression from working there, perfect for new drivers.
They will train new drivers, Emanuel the trainer is very good. Newer trucks, mostly automatics and mostly good trailers.
LTL, reefers. You have to use hand pallet jack to help unloading the skids on the route BC-CA, which is OK.
Mostly teams. Driving triangles Vancouver-California-Toronto-Vancouver.
The hardest part for me was a change from night to day driving during one trip. But I think that can be negotiated between partners in team.
If you work hard you can make really good money.
Good trailers and trucks, new autoshift Cascadias, lot's of hours, fair pay.
Unbalanced hours in team driving, awfully mixed days and nights during one trip
