Was essentially a swiss army knife for my summer position. Would unload trucks, get carts, help lift items to cars, or work the register. Management for the most part was reliable but one boss wanted extraordinary effort while being very disconnected from the employees.
An example of this would be yelling at people to do their jobs when you have the people running trying to do their designated job.
Worked 25-30 hours a week, mostly at from the afternoon until close.
Can't comment too much on benefits and compensation and I was only there for summer work.
decent lunch break, helpful employees
management at times, job advancement seemed limited
