Management needs an attitude adjustment.

McDonalds was my first job, for the first 2 years I really enjoyed working there. I have currently been there for about 4 years now, and have started to notice that the management team are definitely a big group of bullies. The flexible hours McDonald's like to say they have definitely isn't true, they expect a certain availability to be met whether you can actually work it or not (I don't see that as flexible do you?). They also regularly have people who are sick and should be staying home, working, and therefore getting everyone else sick. When it comes to personal problems at home, they can be helpful if they like you, but if you havent always been in their good books (like me) you get treated like trash for not showing up for work (in the case of an emergency) or for calling in to a shift. I know most people won't end up reading this whole review, but as far as I'm concerned most people out there can do so much better than McDonald's, it was great for my first year or 2 but its definitely time to get out of there.
Management, hard to communicate when emergencies happen, "flexible hours"
