A place where almost anyone can find work.
Health Care Zone Supervisor (Former Employee) – Calgary, AB – 3 December 2013
My time at this company was educational and rewarding in some ways. There were days that were enjoyable, and days that were extremely trying or even shocking. It was all part of the day in working with patients, staff and the public. My team-mates were an interesting experience, and the lessons I learned from working with them will be remembered and useful in my future endeavors.
I don't know abut the current management, as our manager was promoted out of our department. However our mobile team's manager at the time, was a great asset to us. He dealt with issues in a calm and fair manner, and was always there for us when we needed to bounce ideas off him.
We oversaw dozens of staff at 34 locations. The people on the teams we worked with were fascinating individuals with their own diverse stories and backgrounds.
Good place to find work for the average person. However don't expect to find promotions or much in the way of pay raises, there is really no where to grow, unless you're in specific positions like I was, and even then, there was no place to advance beyond where I was, when I left.
Flexible hours if you're working in General Duties. They'll hire anybody.
Pay raises are rare and have a low cap. Management is not your friend.
