Job Title: Pool and Spa Distributor Branch Manager
Location: Calgary
Reports To: General Manager
Employment Type: Full Time, In-Person

Position Summary:

The Branch Manager is responsible for daily branch operations, driving new business development, maintaining strong client relationships, and performing warehouse and purchasing functions. The Branch Manager must ensure the branch meets its performance goals and delivers exceptional customer service. The correct candidate has industry experience, has effectively led teams, and is looking for an exciting challenge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Branch Management
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and achieve performance targets.
  • Act as the point of contact for branch needs and organizational support
  • Help manage staffing, scheduling, and workflow coordination.
  • Work with the General Manager to assist with design and setup of the distribution facility and development of local team.
  • Drive New Business Sales
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement local sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients.
  • Support Existing Clients
  • Provide exceptional service to current clients and resolve any issues efficiently.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Maintain regular contact with key accounts to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Warehouse Support
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure inventory accuracy and timely order processing.
  • Fulfill daily orders for shipment including pulling and packing of goods and coordinating logistic requirements.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with restocking as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures in the warehouse.
  • Purchasing Support
  • Assist with sourcing, purchasing, and receiving of products and materials.
  • Track purchase orders and delivery timelines.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors to ensure reliable supply chain operations.
  • Branch Support and Coordination
  • Coordinate with head office and other branches to facilitate transfers and inventory movements.

Qualifications:

  • Pool and Spa Industry experience, minimum 2 years
  • Proven experience in sales, operations, and team leadership roles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Familiarity with inventory systems, purchasing, or warehouse operations is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business software systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred
