Prefab Wall Panel Carpenter/Framer (Shop-Based)

We are looking for skilled and reliable Carpenters / Framers to join our prefab wall panel production team.

This is a shop-based position focused on the assembly of prefabricated cold-formed steel (CFS) wall panels for residential and commercial construction projects.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable with measuring, cutting, sheathing installation, reading drawings, and working with hand and power tools in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble prefabricated wall panels based on shop drawings
• Measure, cut, and install plywood, gypsum, Glass-Roc, and other sheathing materials
• Perform framing, layout, squaring, and alignment tasks
• Read and interpret production drawings and dimensions
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Maintain quality, accuracy, and productivity standards
• Assist with material handling and panel movement as required
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry, framing, prefab construction, or related work
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Experience with saws, drills, fastening tools, and construction equipment
• Ability to read construction drawings and layouts
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Reliable and team-oriented

Assets

• Cold-formed steel (CFS) framing experience
• Prefab wall panel experience
• Sheathing installation experience
• Forklift or telehandler experience
