Experienced Baker - Good Bread Retail Store

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team in creating delicious baked goods that delight our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and presentation. As a Baker, you will play a vital role in our kitchen, contributing to the overall success of our food offerings while providing excellent customer service.

Duties

• Help prepare and bake a variety of bakery items, including bread, pastries, cookies etc.
• Decorate pastries and other delicious sweet treats.
• Ensure that all baked goods are of high quality and meet customer expectations.
• Follow recipes and production schedules to ensure timely delivery of baked goods.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of baking supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their bakery needs

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation and baking is preferred.
• Knowledge of pastry decorating techniques is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
• STRONG attention to detail.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner when needed.
• Ability to work as part of a team and learn other areas of the bakery setting.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Ability to merchandize and package baked goods for display or takeout orders.
• Able to lift at least 20kg at a time
