Job description

Growing and Established Metal fabrication company in
St Thomas looking to hire a junior fabricator/welder . Candidates will be working in a fast
paced environment where attention to safety and detail
is critical.
Applicant will be:

-Mechanically Inclined and familiar with the use of
basic hand tools.

-Able to work 42 hrs/week with little supervision

-of good physical condition able to manually lift 50+
lbs.

-Able to read a tape measure a must!!
Duties include:

-fabrication of metal products from raw material

-welding of various fabrications

-cutting and bending of parts

-working in a clean and safe manner

-Ability to driver standard transmission a plus

This position would be a perfect fit for someone with a small amount of experience in the steel trade looking to grow their skill set and work on a wide range of projects. Candidates with past work experience in the steel trade will be given preference but is not required.

Application process if asked to come in for an interview will involve a simple aptitude test and a welding test in person.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
