Job Description

This job will primarily be performed from the Proshow warehouse, driving trucks from cargo vans to 5 ton cube trucks with air brakes and assisting in picking orders which become our live events. Pick the gear, fill it in our inventory system, securely package it for transport, load the truck, drive to the event, return to the shop - this is a snapshot of a typical day at Proshow. Other duties will include maintenance and repair scheduling of our fleet of vehicles. Assisting in coordination and scheduling of driving shifts and occasional site work at our events.

The Ideal Candidate...

Will be comfortable in driving trucks as large as 5 ton box trucks in and out of the downtown core. They will have a strong understanding of trucking needs and maintenance planning. They will find enjoyment in working with and learning about technology. They will maintain a strong attention to detail and possess strong organization and communication skills. They will be focused and desire to be impactful on a daily basis. They will desire to work more than 40 hours per week and be self managing in their time. They will possess leadership qualities and have a strong vision for our process.

Job Requirements

• English speaking
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean drivers abstract
• Able to lift 50lbs
• Able to work overtime on weeknights and weekends
• Airbrake certification or experience an asset*
• Strong attention to detail
• Microsoft Office Suite experience

*in-house training and certification will be provided

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
