About the Role

Global Convention Services is seeking a Warehouse and Carpet Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. This role will make an immediate impact to our organization by playing a critical role in managing our carpet inventory and ensuring quality and cleanilness for each event.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and supervisory skills while being flexible in taking on various responsibilities based on current departmental needs. This role will report to the Operations Manager from our Moncton, New Brunswick warehouse location.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate carpet maintenance staff
  • Build and execute weekly plan for required carpet maintenance to ensure inventory is ready for orders
  • Lift, pull, carry and roll-up carpet on warehouse floor
  • Assist cleaners in performing duties including vacuuming, cleaning, cutting and seaming carpets
  • Measure, tag, and inventory cleaned carpets
  • Ensure carpet inventory is up to date and accurate
  • Build carpet orders to company standard
  • Regular reporting to Operations Manager regarding staffing and operations
  • Maintain and use equipment and supplies in a safe manner
  • Ensure all Health and Safety requirements are being met and followed by all staff
  • May be required to work within other areas of the warehouse
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Ability to give and receive direction, understand, and execute instructions
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Basic math and measuring skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Certified Forklift operator an asset
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License an asset
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse an asset
  • Previous supervisory experience an asset
