Volunteer at Summer Camp

Our camp is a multi-activity day camp for busy kids in Toronto. We have 8 different locations. Our camp runs from July 4th - August 25th, 2023.

151 Glenlake Avenue / 156 Roncesvalles Avenue / 35 Lytton Boulevard / 851 Royal York Rd. / 25 Brunhamthorpe Rd. / 16 Baby Point Rd. / 4 Morningside Ave. (Toronto, not Scarborough!).

For all locations we are currently looking for volunteers to gain great experience working with kids in a fun and active environment. We have a different topic every week including a weekly field trip to one of Toronto's major attractions.

Tasks include (but not limited to):

- support with drop off and pick-up

- support counsellors with games, crafts and other activities

- support with supervision during lunch break and snack times

- support special needs campers

- accompanying the group on field trips throughout the city of Toronto

- location clean up, inventory, sorting supplies

- picture taking and uploading

Requirements:

- minimum age: 14 years

- Minimal time commitment: 2 weeks, half days or full days:

Half days: Mornings: 8 am - 1:00 pm or Afternoons: 12:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Full days: 8:45 am - 4:45 pm

- if over 18 years old: police check (not older than 12 months)

- previous experience at a summer camp or working with kids is an asset

- specific skills (sports, drawing, crafts, etc.) an asset
