Vehicle Detailer

Ontario Motor Sales is a Chevrolet Cadillac dealership proudly serving the Durham Region for over 100 years. As a well-established GM Certified Service and Sales Centre, we see a high volume of new and used car sales as well as maintenance and repair work.

Job requirements include:

• Maintain a safe and clean workspace
• Clean and detail any vehicle assigned to meet company standards
• Ability to clean engine compartments safety
• Ability to wet sand and polish paint as required
• Must be skilled with a clay bar
• Should be able to complete all assigned Ceramic Coating applications
• Should be able to handle certain acids to clean rims and wheels safely
• Perform paint and fabric protections as required
• Able to touch up stone chips and other paint blemishes as needed.
• Operate interior shampooing and vacuum machines
• Skilled in intricate cleaning such as around vents and other tight areas.
• Skilled in leather and vinyl revitalization
• Perform any other detailing type services such as deodorizing, cleaning, wiping and polishing
• Liaise with vendors that supply cleaning products

What you bring:

• 5-10 years previous detailing experience
• Experienced in high-speed polishing and scratch removal and paint corrections
• Must have the ability to release a professionally detailed vehicle back to the consumer
• Must have a valid “G” class drivers license.

Monday to Friday and Scheduled Saturdays as required. 8am to 5pm or as scheduled.

Pay: $18.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
