Flipside XR is a virtual and augmented reality startup that’s building the future of entertainment. A future that is interactive, social, and where the impossible comes to life. We're looking for a talented and driven developer who wants to help build this future with us.

Our ideal candidate has extensive experience in software development for Unity. You have experience optimizing games, in particular, VR and AR experiences, and understand the subtle art of performance tuning in Unity, as well as how to write Unity plugins or solutions to further optimize performance-critical paths. Experience with Unity’s new Entity Component System and Job System and shader optimization are a plus.

Do you love to learn new things and solve difficult problems? Would you jump at the chance to work every day with the latest, often pre-release, new technology? Do you obsess over the subtle details that make the difference between a good experience and a great one?

If this sounds like you, please send us your resume and salary expectations.

  • Keep up with the latest VR and AR advancements and techniques
  • Write documentation, share your learning, and follow code conventions
  • Work with early prototype hardware and software

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience (self-taught is cool too)
  • Experience in performance optimization for mobile gaming, VR, AR, or equivalent
  • Highly proficient in C# and Unity
  • Strong understanding of math for games
