Transmission R&R Technician

GTA Transmission Repair is seeking an experienced R&R Transmission Technician with a strong background in removing and installing vehicle transmission systems. This role requires expertise in mechanical systems, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• You will be required to remove and reinstall transmissions – all makes and models.
• Rear differentials and clutch skills are a huge plus.
• Stay updated on new transmission technologies and repair techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of verifiable on-the-job experience in rebuilding transmissions.
• Physical ability to lift heavy parts and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Must have your own tools.
• Valid driver's license.
• Transmission certificate of qualification will be considered as an asset.
• Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
• Proficiency in Portuguese or Spanish is a plus.

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
