Job Description

At Rolldog we’re helping companies better manage their business relationships and increase their sales revenue. Our flagship Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution has been designed from the ground up to add value for our customers every step of the way.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Software Sales Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a proven track record of success in sales (preferably technology sales). As a Software Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, building and maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities:

Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, and online research. Conduct thorough research to understand prospective clients' needs and challenges.

Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling and customized presentations (usually via online demos) to showcase the value proposition of our software solutions. Effectively communicate the features and benefits of our products to potential customers.

Consultative Selling: Understand the unique requirements of each lead/prospect and tailor solutions to meet their specific needs. Collaborate with the technical team to provide clients with insightful information on how our software can address their business challenges.

Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing ongoing support and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.

Sales Pipeline Management: Manage and prioritize a sales pipeline to meet and exceed sales targets. Utilize CRM tools to track and report on sales activities and progress.

Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and market conditions. Provide feedback to the product development team based on market needs and client feedback.

Negotiation and Closing: Work closely with clients to negotiate contracts and terms that meet both parties' expectations. Successfully close deals and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the software industry and technology trends.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Results-driven with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and following up in a timely manner.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in B2B software sales is highly desirable.
