Your Role:

  • As a pivotal member of our team, you will operate skid steers of multiple sizes, with precision and care, in ridiculously tight spaces
  • You will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards of quality, ensuring our excellent reputation lives on
  • You will be responsible for toolbox meetings, paperwork and reporting, estimating truck loads required, using the level and doing the math to find grade and more
  • You will drive company trucks and trailers with respect and safety at the forefront of your mind


  • Minimum 3 years operating skid steers
  • [ldeally] landscaping experience
  • Able to drive a truck and trailer
  • Must have your own vehicle to get to our out-of-town yard
  • Understand how to secure a load (will also receive training)
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written, ensuring clear and proactive exchanges with team members
  • A positive, good-natured attitude, good under pressure demeanor, the ability to stay calm in conflict, and a professional approach to work
  • Punctuality and dedication
  • The ability to navigate and resolve conflicts thoughtfully and effectively, maintaining a vibin' workplace
  • Fluent written and oral English
  • Good with tech/ able to use digital applications comfortably
  • [Relatively] clean drivers record (5 year commercial abstract required)
  • Experience leading crews is ideal

Extra details for the curious among you:

This position will be starting as soon as the earth is dry enough to work with - We are hoping to be rolling by April 15th.

Interviews will be in two rounds: Round ONE will be meeting with us and if you make it to round TWO, we will be testing your skid steer ability and skills on backing up a truck and trailer into a tight area.

Our pay structure rewards the killers and kickassers - while our hourly is competitive, you have the ability to make more than an average in-town operator job.

Our yard is on the outskirts of NW Calgary where you, as foreman, will often start your days.

Salary: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
