Senior Full Stack .Net Developer - Contractor

Who are we looking for:

We are looking for a technically proficient, self-motivated Senior Full Stack .Net Developer to join our team of top performers in a contract role. The ideal candidate will draw on their rich experience in supporting and maintaining production/user facing applications and develop and implement unique web-based applications. The role we are filling requires a high degree of technical skills along with experience handling production issues and addressing production bugs. This is a highly collaborative role with the need for proactive communication and self-direction.

A background in auction software, Insurance, Accounting, and Billing system would be a strong asset.

Please note: We are currently looking for Contractors for a minimum six-month engagement, beginning in January.

The Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in web development
• Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent experience
• High proficiency with .NET, C#, HTML, JavaScript, and other related languages
• High proficiency in MS SQL Server programming, MVC
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Collaborative mindset

Core Responsibilities of this position:

• Develop business web application, including translating designer mock-ups and wireframes into front-end code
• Design user interactions on web pages
• Develop functional databases, applications, and servers to support websites on the back end
• Ensure cross-platform optimization for mobile (responsive design)
• Develop and design RESTful services and APIs
• Unit Test the code and document the testing scenarios used while performing unit test.
• Ensure that non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are being considered when developing solutions
• Stay abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages

• ASP.NET, MVC 3.0+ applications - (>4Y)
• ASP.NET, Web Forms applications - (>6Y)
• ASP.NET Web API 2.0 - (>2Y)
• WCF, Web Services, XML - (>3)
• JQuery - (>2Y)
• Stored Procedures - (>5Y)
• HTML, JavaScript & Ajax - (>5Y)
• MS SQL server 2008 or higher - (>6Y)
• Team Foundation Server/DevOPs - (>2-3Y)

Bonus points if you have these Skills:

• JavaScript Frameworks (1-2Y)
• Entity Framework, Dapper or any other ORM (1-2Y)
• Telerik Controls for ASP.NET Web forms & MVC - (2Y)
• Kendo UI
• Knockout.js - (1-2Y)
• Mobile development on iOS & Android - (1-2Y)
• GIT – (1-2Y)

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: $70.00-$85.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
