Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and organized Salon Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hair industry, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage the day-to-day operations of a busy salon. As our Salon Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining our high standards of service, while also supporting and mentoring our talented team of stylists.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
  • Manage staff scheduling and performance
  • Be the first point of contact for stylists during and after work hours
  • Provide exceptional customer service and handle client inquiries or concerns
  • Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Guide to uphold salon policies and procedures
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment and team culture
  • Schedule salon services
  • Process payments of services
  • Opening/Closing Salon
  • Key support to owners

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a management role is required
  • Excellent communication (fluent in English both written and verbally)
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to motivate and manage a team
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to providing outstanding service
  • Skilled in conflict resolution
  • Previous experience in salons/hospitality is an asset
  • Experience with salon/spa software is an asset
  • Competency in using Google Workspace or equivalent
  • Highly organized, ability to multitask, self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Maturity, confidence, and self-awareness
  • A positive attitude and lead by example
  • A willingness to learn, grow, & adapt

Expected hours: 40 per week
