Headquartered in Moncton, New Brunswick, Maritime Door & Window designs, manufactures and installs high quality, energy efficient doors and windows for a wide variety of applications and industries including home renovations and construction.

We are currently looking to hire a Sales Representative to join our team. Reporting to the Sales and Customer Service Manager, the Sales Representative is a driven and effective team member focused on client centric experiences and achieving sales goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Present, promote and sell products/ services using knowledge and experience to existing and prospective customers.
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of and for existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
  • Maintaining and develop positive business and customer relationships to ensure cooperation and future sales.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
  • Analyze their territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.
  • Report on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential for new products and services.
  • Actively listen and effectively communicate to promote client centric experiences.
  • Effectively manage and prioritize tasks.
  • Continuously improve through feedback from both customers and management.
  • Any other related duties as requested by the sales and customer service manager.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a sales representative
  • Excellent knowledge of MS office
  • Familiarity with CRM practices along with ability to build productive business and professional relationships.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Excellent selling, communication, listening and negotiation skills.
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the customer’s needs.
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field of study or equivalent experience.
  • Language: fluent in both official languages, written and spoken
  • Must hold a valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract.

Assets:

  • Demonstrated sales ability with a high closing ratio; experience working in a window and door manufacturing environment.
  • General knowledge on how to install & repair window and door products.
  • Ability to use a wide range of hand tools and power tools.
  • Experience working with a CRM or ERP system, proficiency in MS office.
