Opportunity:

Overview:

The Mel Jr. & Marty Zajac Foundation is a not-for-profit organization, located in Vancouver, BC, whose mandate is to support children, seniors and those with special needs through innovative community projects focused on developing lifelong skills and independence. Our current major focus is Zajac Ranch for Children, a camp in Mission, BC, for children with chronic, life-threatening and/or debilitating conditions.

We are seeking a Sales & Registration Coordinator to join our team at the Vancouver office. The successful candidate will oversee and manage summer camp registrations and year-round site rentals for Zajac Ranch for Children.

Responsibilities:

The Sales & Registration Coordinator is responsible for:

  • Implementing successful marketing and sales initiatives to promote and secure rentals for events at Zajac Ranch.
  • Coordinating and managing registration of summer medical camps, including scheduling, correspondence, payments/collection and general inquiries.
  • Coordinating and managing registration of off-season rentals year-round, including scheduling, correspondence, payments and general inquiries.
  • Being the initial point of contact for all clients, new and repeat.
  • Completing and processing customer booking needs in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinating direct mailings to campers and potential user groups.
  • Corresponding with families, program staff, volunteers and other professionals and agencies.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to self-manage workload volumes (highly organized) and changing priorities (multi-tasking) in a team spirited environment with a strong results- oriented focus essential.
  • Minimum of three years working in an office environment at an intermediate level required.
  • Demonstrate Business Development Skills including the ability to analyze, plan, and initiate projects.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and analytical abilities; vigorous attention to detail, exceptional time and organizational management.
  • Previous experience in hotel reservations an asset.
  • Customer service, hospitality and camp experience an asset.
  • Sales / marketing experience preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) required.
  • Working knowledge of CampBrain an asset.
  • Not-for-profit experience an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 per year
