Full job description

Rope Access Technician

We have an immediate need for Rope Access Technicians to join our offshore and onshore teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES: What you will do

  • Be able to demonstrate the skills and knowledge required of your obtained IRATA Level
  • Be knowledgeable of relevant work techniques
  • Perform job functions as they relate to the scope of work
  • Create and maintain positive working relationships with clients
  • Assist with a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks at heights
  • Work with team/client to ensure a safe working environment
  • Ensure operational safety of all equipment
  • Assist other technicians as required

QUALIFICATIONS: Your background

  • Must possess valid Level 1, 2, or 3 IRATA certificate
  • Secondary trade is preferred (i.e. inspection, insulation, electrical, etc.)
  • Clean record of conduct
  • Offshore regulatory training an asset (i.e. BST, etc.)
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Knowledge of IRATA International Code of Practice and General Requirements
  • Experience working at heights and knowledge of rescue techniques
