Rope Access Technician
We have an immediate need for Rope Access Technicians to join our offshore and onshore teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES: What you will do
- Be able to demonstrate the skills and knowledge required of your obtained IRATA Level
- Be knowledgeable of relevant work techniques
- Perform job functions as they relate to the scope of work
- Create and maintain positive working relationships with clients
- Assist with a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks at heights
- Work with team/client to ensure a safe working environment
- Ensure operational safety of all equipment
- Assist other technicians as required
QUALIFICATIONS: Your background
- Must possess valid Level 1, 2, or 3 IRATA certificate
- Secondary trade is preferred (i.e. inspection, insulation, electrical, etc.)
- Clean record of conduct
- Offshore regulatory training an asset (i.e. BST, etc.)
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Knowledge of IRATA International Code of Practice and General Requirements
- Experience working at heights and knowledge of rescue techniques
