**Overview:** At United Way Newfoundland and Labrador (UWNL), we are dedicated to supporting our community by providing essential services and resources. As a Philanthropy Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing relationships with various stakeholders, promoting our services, and securing sustainable funding for our operations. **Responsibilities:** - Actively engage with provincial and municipal governments to raise awareness and garner support for UWNL's initiatives. - Develop and execute communication strategies to engage donors, funders, community service organizations, and program users in promoting our services. - Collaborate with stakeholders, community partners, and government entities to ensure ongoing funding for UWNL's operations. - Create marketing, public relations, and event strategies to increase awareness and utilization of our services through various communication channels. - Establish a consistent brand positioning for UWNL within the community and among relevant organizations. - Monitor resource development approaches to ensure broad awareness and utilization of our services. - Ensure all communications and marketing materials comply with United Way's standards. - Enhance UWNL's reputation as a catalyst for creating an inclusive community. - Serve as an ambassador for United Way and its programs. - Participate actively in national committees and initiatives related to philanthropy. **Skills:** - 3-5 years of experience in relationship building, communications, and public relations. - Proficiency in report writing with the ability to convey stories through data presentation. - Fundraising or sales experience is advantageous. - Results-driven team player capable of fostering relationships with diverse stakeholders. - Strong planning, budgeting, analytical, and organizational skills. - Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities. - Integrity, high energy, creativity, and a passion for community building are essential. - Leadership experience within a dynamic non-profit environment. - Possession of a valid driver's license. - Willingness to travel within the province as needed. Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
